About SqueezeHunter
SqueezeHunter is online early on purpose. This page explains the vision, the rules, and why we chose transparency over polish.
Market analysis only — no trade execution, no brokerage, no financial advice.
Why SqueezeHunter exists
Crypto moves fast, and the information that matters is fragmented across structure, liquidity, flows, funding, open interest, and sentiment. Most tools show data. Very few help you read pressure.
SqueezeHunter exists to make high-volatility conditions explainable: what is building, what is releasing, and what the market is implicitly pricing in.
What this is (and what it is not)
SqueezeHunter is
- A market intelligence platform focused on volatility conditions
- A “pressure reader” for structure, liquidity, and short-interest context
- Snapshot-first: clear states of the market, not reactive noise
- Designed for human decision-making, not automated execution
SqueezeHunter is not
- A trading bot or trade execution system
- A signal copier or “buy/sell” oracle
- A brokerage, exchange, or custodian
- Financial advice
The goal is clarity. You stay in control.
Why the website is online before it is “finished”
We decided to publish early because credibility in crypto is earned through verifiable behavior, not promises. The site is online to show the direction, the rules, and the standards we enforce.
Current status
- Internal testing & data validation is active.
- Some modules are production-ready; others are intentionally limited or disabled.
- We prefer “honest preview” over “perfect marketing.”
What is stable
- Core site layout, navigation, and product framing
- Snapshot-based dashboard preview (read-only)
- Clear disclaimers and non-execution positioning
What is evolving
- Signal weighting and narrative clarity
- Coverage breadth (more sources, tighter validation)
- AI summaries (careful rollout, strict constraints)
If something is not ready, we will say it plainly. No theatrics.
Snapshots, not noise
Many dashboards feel “alive” but deliver confusion: rapid updates, conflicting signals, and no coherent state. SqueezeHunter is built around snapshots: a unified view of the market at a point in time.
This makes analysis reproducible: what you saw can be re-checked, compared, and audited. It also reduces “indicator chaos” and forces disciplined interpretation.
Data provenance (high level)
SqueezeHunter is analytics only—no trading, no trade execution, no brokerage, no financial advice. We publish snapshots only after validation checks and keep the provenance path explicit by design.
- Aggregated market data and derived indicators (validated before publishing)
- Snapshot-first publishing with an exact asOf timestamp (UTC)
- Integrity fingerprinting via checksum (any change yields a new checksum)
- Full audit path via raw JSON in the Snapshot Viewer
Design principle
“SqueezeHunter doesn’t simplify the market. It makes it readable.”
How we use AI (carefully)
SqueezeHunter AI is an analyst of real data collected by the SqueezeHunter system. It does not decide trades and never replaces your judgment.
Its outputs are factual summaries of what a snapshot shows. No invented data. No hidden assumptions.
AI rules
- AI must be grounded in visible inputs (snapshots only)
- Outputs are explanations and summaries, never instructions
- When uncertain, the system must say so clearly
Auditability
Every AI summary is tied to a timestamped snapshot. You can audit the exact inputs, sources, and state that the summary is based on.
Checksum and traceability
Each snapshot includes a checksum that proves integrity. If any value changes, the checksum changes. This is how we guarantee a summary maps to a precise, verifiable state.
- asOf: exact snapshot timestamp (UTC)
- checksum: integrity fingerprint of the snapshot
- raw JSON: full, auditable snapshot payload
The product must remain credible even with AI turned off.
